Immobilizer Delete Service for VW TDI EDC17 Diesel (2007-2014) | VIN Correction Available

$129.99 USD
This service is designed to remove the immobilizer from VW TDI diesel vehicles (2007-2014) equipped with Bosch EDC17 ECUs. It’s specifically for vehicles that start and then immediately shut down due to an immobilizer issue. If the vehicle does not start at all, this service will not resolve the issue. We can also correct the VIN number in the ECU if needed.
This service is ideal when replacing a faulty ECU with a used or remanufactured unit. The immobilizer delete ensures compatibility with your vehicle’s electronics, allowing the replacement ECU to function properly.
Common Symptoms:
  • Vehicle starts and shuts down due to the immobilizer.
  • Fault codes P1570 ("Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer") and P0513 ("Incorrect Immobilizer Key") are commonly associated with this issue.
Important:
  • Your vehicle must start and then shut down due to the immobilizer for this service to work.
  • If the vehicle does not start at all, this service will not fix the problem.
  • This service is also used when installing a replacement ECU.
  • Both the immobilizer delete and VIN correction can be performed.
  • In some cases, we may need to open the ECM, which could void any existing warranty on the part.
Supported ECU Types:
  • EDC17U01, EDC17U05, EDC17CP04, EDC17CP14, EDC17CP20, EDC17CP44, EDC17C46, EDC17C54, EDC17C64
